Calcium Magnesium Citrate Purified Granular

Jost Code: 2206

Calcium Magnesium Citrate can be used as a dietary supplement and as a nutrient.

Jost R&D developed a proprietary process to create a unique product: Ca2 MgCitrate which will not harden in water solution and gives the correct ratio of Ca: Mg of 2:1 — the same ratio as the recommended daily requirement. Calcium Magnesium Citrate Pentahydrate provides 14% calcium and 4.2% magnesium per unit dose on an “as is” basis, delivering 140mg of calcium and 42mg of magnesium per gram of Calcium Magnesium Citrate Pentahydrate used in a formulation.

Code 2206, Purified Granular is beneficial to customers that desire a directly compressible magnesium source for tablet manufacturing. Typically magnesium salts are very difficult to tablet. However, the compressibility of calcium magnesium citrate co-salt is superior to both calcium citrate and magnesium citrate.

Calcium is vital for strong bone and teeth formation. It also helps to maintain a regular heartbeat and transmission of nerve impulses. Magnesium plays a vital role in regulating the neuromuscular activity of the heart, converts blood sugar to energy and is necessary for proper calcium and vitamin C metabolism.
